Navajo Election Board debating no postponement of Nov. 4 general election

Navajo Board of Election Supervisors having special meeting at Apache County office in Fort Defiance, Ariz.

Election Board member Tom White makes a motion to maintain Nov. 4 General Election and not postpone general election for presidential candidates only.
Election Board member Ruth Watson seconds White’s motion.

The board is now debating motion.

Election board member Harry Brown opposes.

Election Board member Tom White says that the presidential candidates Dale Tsosie and Hank Whitethorne are private citizens and had no right to file an election complaint against presidential candidate Chris Deschene.
