BECENTI VICE PRESIDENT JONATHAN PERRY
The resolution from Dine’ Medicinemen’s Association opposing HRI occured after reading news reports and meeting. Many opposing resolutions met in January on their own and so I don’t have details of how they decided to oppose HRI.

DELEGATE DUANE TSINGINE
I’d like to see with show of hands.

One Woman Raises Her Hand.

L&O COMMITTEE CHAIRPERSON PRO TEMP ALTON SHEPHERD
We need to bring this issue to Council’s Naabik’iyati Committee. And i’m concerned that there were no public hearings on the Resources and Development Committee’s legislation that created Subcommittee to work with HRI. The Naabik’iyati Committee is scheduled to meet Thursday, April 17. Is it possible to have this issue placed on the Naabi agenda?

L&O COMMITTEE CHAIRPERSON DELEGATE EDMUND YAZZIE
I will certainly begin working on your request, Delegate Shepherd.
