Navajo Council approves Nullification of 2014 Presidential Primary, New 2015 Primary

Navajo Council now on Legislation 0341-14, which would nullify August 2014 Primary Election so a new 2015 Primary Election could be held followed by a 2015 General Election.

As Speaker Pro Tem LoRenzo Bates announces that Council loses quorum, the people in the gallery yell at him, which is not the first time that the people in the gallery have yelled, shouted, laughed, jeered.

COUNCIL VOTES ON CEASE DEBATE ON 0341-14, 12 in favor, 0 opposed

COUNCIL VOTE ON 0341-14 WITH ONE AMENDMENT, 11 IN FAVOR, 1 OPOPSED
0341-14 ALSO GOES TO PRESIDENT SHELLY FOR HIS SIGNATURE OR VETO. NAVAJO LAW ALLOWS PRESIDENT TEN DAYS TO MAKE A DECISION. IF NO DECISION IN TEN DAYS THEN LEGISLATION BECOMES LAW.
