We say to give these monies to chapter but look at what they are doing. They’re spending $60,000 annually to fly around. Council luvs chapter but they don’t expect accountability.

Also recommend to use some of these Indirect Costs funds for new administrative buildings. I don’t know where tribal employees are. Some are in Fort Defiance. We complain about work performance of employees but we give them more money. We need more tribal government buildings in Window Rock and across the reservation.

AMENDMENT, under page 2 or 3 of budget, move $22,000 from Object Code 5610 to Object Code 3230, which makes new total of $59,000.

DELEGATE LEONARD TSOSIE
I question this. what do LDAs do? I see LDA going to Facebook and I told one to listen. All they is text and I wonder if they text “vote no on Tsosie.” And LDAs were an experiment. I don’t kow how being accepted but where I’ve gone, pple want to see delegates. (LDA – legislative district assistants AKA personal assistants to delegates) And now some are getting paid enough to be candidate for council. There was talk about making LDAs consultants. There shud be just simple contracts.

I don’t know when we’ll get report on LDAs. Is it working? I don’t think so. We shud zero out $37,000 for LDAs.
