The Navajo Nation Museum & Library is hosting an opening ceremony for a new running and walking trail at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 19.
The beginning of the Navajo Museum Trail, which is north of of the museum and library in Window Rock, Ariz., is also the site of the dedication of the trail.
Navajo Nation Vice President Jonathan Nez is the feature speaker. Other speakers are also scheduled to speak.
The opening ceremony for the trail will be followed by a fun walk and, or run on the new trail, which ends at the Navajo Nation Veterans’ Memorial Park.
