TODAY: Udall to Lead Indian Affairs Oversight Hearing on Confronting the Crisis of Missing and Murdered Native Women

WASHINGTON — TODAY, Wednesday, December 12, 2018, U.S. Senator Tom Udall, vice chair of the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs, will preside over an oversight hearing on missing and murdered Native women.

At 12:30 p.m. MT / 2:30 p.m. ET, Udall will lead a Senate Committee on Indian Affairs oversight hearing titled “Missing and Murdered: Confronting the Silent Crisis in Indian Country,” where he will seek input from federal, state, and tribal leaders on how to best address the ongoing crisis of violence against Native women.
