It’s been on the Naabik’iyati agenda before and its sponsor, Resources and Development Committee Vice Chairperson and Council Delegate Ben Bennett asked to have it removed because Escalade developers, who include former Navajo Nation President and Arizona state legislator Albert Hale, were unavailable.
