Resources & Development meet on NTUA’s Unspent CARES funds, 9 am, 6.7.21

Greetings Relatives/Frens/Humans, I was unable to attend the Navajo Nation Council Resources & Development Committee this morning but I figured that since Council Speaker Seth Damon has been proudly announcing how TRANSPARENT the Council/Legislative Branch is that the RDC meeting with Navajo Tribal Utility Authority regarding NTUA’s UNSPENT CARES money would be recorded, which has been happening regularly with meetings involving the Council, its committees, work sessions, leadership meetings, and commission meetings. BUT there is no RECORDING of today’s RDC meeting with NTUA. I checked the Council’s FB page, YouTube site, and Vimeo, and there’s no recording.

The RDC provided Call-In info to attended the RDC meeting via teleconference. I followed Call-In instructions and was told by an automatic voice message that the meeting had not started…WTH This was about 2 p.m., 6.7.21.

And so I emailed the Navajo Nation Communications Office & copies Speaker Damon; Navajo Nation Attorney General Doreen McPaul; Law & Order Committee Chairwoman Eugenia Charles-Newton; Health, Education & Human Services Committee Chairman Daniel Tso; Budget & Finance Committee member Amber Kanazbah Crotty, and Delegate Vince James the FOLLOWING QUESTIONS:

Greetings Legislative Branch Communications Office:
I would like to access the Recording for today’s RDC Leadership meeting. Would you please provide me information on how to access that recording? Ahe’hee!

And another question, the RDC Leadership meeting today, 6.7.21, 9 am, was the only Legislative Branch meeting today and so why wasn’t the RDC Leadership today Live Streamed on the Council’s FB page, YouTube, and Vimeo?

I’d like to have the following Reports emailed to me today: Report – Navajo Tribal Utility Authority’s CARES Act Funded Unfinished Projects, Presenter: Arash Moelima, NTUA Legal Counsel.; and an Update Report – Office of the Controller on Unexpended CARES Act funding, Presenter: Robert Willie, Accounting Manager.

I also have a question regarding the Unspent CARES funds. Is there a plan by one of the standing committees, a council delegate, or Speaker Damon to allow the three branches to finish spending the Unspent CARES dollars that are in the Hardship Assistance Program?

Before the Council removed Controller Kirk, Controller Kirk asked the Council to approve another Application Deadline for the Navajo people to apply for Hardship Assistance. Has Delegates Eugenia Charles-Newton and Vince James dropped legislation to provide another Hardship Assistance Application Deadline?

And I’d also like to have copies of all the Donation Reports that Navajo Nation Doreen McPaul said she presented to the Budget & Finance Committee.regarding the 2019 COVID-19 relief aid donations, monetary and non-monetary, that President Nez & Vice President Lizer/Navajo Nation Executive Branch accepted on behalf of the Navajo people.

Ahe’hee,

I sent my EMAIL at 2:44 pm, 6.7.21. I’ll post when I get a REPLY & I’ll post the REPLY from the Navajo Nation Council and NTUA’s Report on NTUA’s UNSPENT CARES dollars and the Report by Navajo Nation Office of the Controller accounting manager Robert Willie on UNSPENT NAVAJO NATION CARES FUNDS. By the way, I wonder why newly nez-lizer political appointee Controller Elizabeth Begay didn’t make the Report…

May Peace Prevail on Mother Earth!
