HERE AT RESOURCES & DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE WHERE NAVAJO NATION DIVISION OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT LOCAL GOVERNANCE OFFICE REPORTING ON A CONDITION OF APPROPRIATION ON THEIR BUDGET.

The COA is:
Chapter administrators shall not be compensated for attendance at chapter meetings and chapter planning meetings.

NAVAJO NATION LOCAL GOVERNANCE OFFICE:
Back in September 2013, Council approved Land Boards, Grazing Boards, Farm Boards to attend chapter meetings and chapter planning meetings so forms were created for all local community elected officials to be compensated. And then we found out that the only chapter administrator receiving compensation was Dennehotso Chapter manager and she reported that she followed policy because she also is a Farm Board member. So Division of Community Development Director Leonard Chee asked for letter from Navajo Department of Justice. So Dennehotso Chapter manager is only administrator getting compensated.

Only one chapter administrator stopped this Condition of Appropriation and I understand that Dennehotso chapter manager has resigned from Farm Board. And we asked question of NDOJ and we have not receive answer yet.
