REP. ANN KIRKPATRICK
I spoke on floor about protecting Navajo sovereignty by respecting government-to-government negotiations. We continue to work on amendments.
We reintroduced HB 5039 and when discussing Endangered Species Bill, i spoke about tribal sovereignty. I have been questioned about HB 5039 and I spoke with Navajo Hopi Land Commissioners Walter Phelps and Lorenzo Curley.

We are pushing to have hearings in September.
