Former Farmington, N.M., Daily Times news reporter Erny Zah wrote a story about the Navajo owned and operated Fat & Tasty BBQ before he took a public relations position with Navajo Transitional Energy Company.

J.R. Keeswood is the owner of Fat & Tasty, which is a family business. J.R.’s brother, Derrick Keeswood, works along side J.R., who proudly said that former Navajo Council Delegate Ervin Keeswood is his father. Ervin Keeswood currently works as a lobbyist for Navajo Housing Authority and Navajo Tribal Utility Authority.

Speaker LoRenzo Bates has called Council back into session from recess for lunch. It is now 12:51 p.m.
