Comments needed on Navajo Council legislation to oppose uranium mining

Navajo Nation Council Delegate JONATHAN HALE who is sponsoring LEGISLATION 0057-17, which seeks to oppose uranium mining on the Navajo Nation, would like the public to submit their comments on Legislation 0057-17 to the Office of Legislative Services ASAP to:  <comments@navajo-nsn.gov> and also to his email at <jonzcomet@yahoo.com). Delegate Hale said comments may be one sentence and simply state that you oppose or support 0057-17.
Legislation 0057-17 is on the Navajo Nation Council Naa’bik’iyati’ Committee’s March 23, 2017, agenda. Naabik’iyati Committee meeting scheduled to begin at 10 am in Window Rock, Arizona, at the Department of Dine’ Education auditorium.
The Naabik’iyati Committee has final authority on 0057-17, which means the committee can vote to approve or disapprove it.
